Courtyard Tea Room and Gift Shop
The courtyard and old stables are home to a range of facilities adding interest to your visit.
The Courtyard Tea Room
Here in the courtyard tea room the emphasis is on quality and simplicity. We try to provide an attractive and enticing menu, consisting of homemade food, ranging from soups and sandwiches to salads and home baking using locally produced ingredients and Buccleuch’s own heritage label foods.
The tea room is fully licensed with a wide selection of wines, beers and soft drinks. We have also recently added a new coffee machine for fresh speciality coffees.
Opening times are 10am to 5pm on normal country park and house opening days.
Children are welcome in the courtyard tea room and a children’s menu is available everyday.
Bowhill Tea Room has been nominated by visitors to Scotland to appear on VisitScotland Cafe Days website, http://cafedays.visitscotland.com/map.aspx
