Location

Bowhill is situated 3 miles west of Selkirk on the A708 Moffat/St Mary’s Loch Road.

Opening Times

House:

28th June – 31st July, Daily
1 – 5pm (last entry 4pm)
Last admission to the house is one hour prior to closing

1st - 31st August, Daily

Guided Tours at 1pm and 3p

Country Park:
Easter Saturday, Easter Sunday & Easter Monday
22nd, 23rd and 24th March 2008
10am – 5pm

Weekends and Bank holidays in May and June
10am – 5pm

July and August, Daily

Special Openings

Bowhill House and Country Park are open all year round to groups of people interested to know more about what Bowhill can teach them – from the treasures of the house to the ways of the countryside.

A visit to Bowhill continues to be regarded as a unique opportunity to enjoy culture and countryside at its best.

Photography & Conservation

For conservation reasons photography is not allowed in the house.

Facilities for Visitors with Disabilities

At Bowhill we always welcome visitors with disabilities and try to ensure that you are able to see as much of the House and Country Park as possible. Suggestions about how we can improve our facilities are always welcome.

Dogs

Bowhill is a great place to bring your dog for a walk, just as long as you clean up after your dog.  Please keep your dog on a short lead.
