Kidgloves Puppets: The Three Little Pigs and Other Tales - Tuesday 13th April at 3pm
Why do animals have adventures in threes? As well as The Three Little Pigs, Kidgloves presents Goldilocks and the Three Bears and The Three Billy Goats Gruff. Help chase Wilfred Wolf away, watch the goats outwit the troll and join in with the singing at the Bears’ house.  With rod and glove puppets, lots of music and audience interaction, this show is ideal for anyone 3 years old or over.  Tickets £4 (under 16 and over 65)  £5 adults

Garlic Theatre:  Billy Goats Gruff - Wednesday 14th April at 3pm
A simple story of three hungry goats and a grumpy old troll, told with a very gentle ecological message.  A magical tale for ages 3 – 6 with dancing goats, a flying troll and lots of rubbish!  Tickets (£4 under 16 and over 65)  £5 adults

Get Some Spring in Your Step - Sunday 18th April – 2- 4pm
Join the Bowhill Ranger for a refreshing spring walk to blow those winter cobwebs away and then treat yourself to a tempting cream tea.

Spring is in full blossom and summer is just around the corner; join us at Bowhill to celebrate May Day with Victorian inspired games, crafts and entertainment.

Biodiversity at Bowhill - Saturday 15 May 2010 - 2-4pm
As part of the International Year of Biodiversity, help the Bowhill Ranger record as many wildlife species as possible on a walk around the grounds.  Learn about biodiversity as we identify and record some common species and perhaps discover some rare ones. Moderate Walk.  Adult £4.50/Child £3.50/Season Pass £1

Insight Tour -  Friday 28th May – 2pm
An opportunity to look behind the scenes at the Bowhill collection of art, with an informative, entertaining lecture and tour of the House followed by a Buccleuch Afternoon tea’  Please call for further details.

Scarecrow Competition Launch -  Sunday 8th August
Come along to Bowhill today for the launch of our first scarecrow competition.  Get some tips and ideas from the Bowhill rangers on how to make your own scarecrow and enter into our competition, scarecrows will be displayed and the winners announced at our Harvest Festival on 26 September, cash prize £100.  Regular entry price applies. The Rebellious Reivers and the Avenging Archers - Saturday 14th August – 1pm- 4.30pm
The Scotts of Buccleuch were once a well-known reiving family.  Come and enjoy demonstrations and lessons from Hawick Reivers Association in sword fighting, and the Ettrick Forest Archers in longbow archery.  Adult £4.50/Child £3.50/Season Pass £1

The ‘Scarecrows’ are here!  Join us for Harvest Festival celebrations including a Scarecrow competition, sponsored by Locharron.  This is open to all but remember to give your Scarecrow a name!

Full Moon Frolics- Saturday 30th October - 4.30pm-7pm
Join us this Halloween for an evening of spooky fun and frolics in the courtyard of Bowhill.  With lots of great games, there will be full moon fun for all the family.  Dress to impress for our fancy dress competition.  Refreshments and light snacks available. £5 per person

Family Ghost Walk- Saturday 30th October - 5om OR 7pm
Wrap up warm and bring your torch as you explore the grounds of Bowhill House in the dark meeting some past Buccleuch family members, friends and foes.

Wreath Making Workshop - 1 December - 10.30am-12.30am 
Take time to enjoy the festive period and create a traditional Christmas wreath that you and your guests will admire.  When you are finished, enjoy a creamy cappuccino and mince pie.  Price £15 – Includes Hot Drink and Mince Pie

Happy Holly-Day - Sunday 12th December – 2pm-4pm
