It's an Education at Bowhill!

It's an Education at Bowhill!

Looking for a fun, active educational visit for your group this year?

Come to Bowhill House, Icehouse and Victorian Kitchen for an indoor visit or Bowhill Estate for an outdoor visit to learn about nature, the environment and ourselves at any time of the year.

We design activities to meet curriculum needs as well as providing opportunities for children to be successful learners, responsible citizens, confident individuals and effective contributors.

The Duke of Buccleuch is personally committed to the education of all visitors to Bowhill, particularly to the younger generation and so we are able to offer all visiting school groups in the Borders Region assistance with the cost of transport to Bowhill for up to £175.  There is no limit to how often you can use this subsidy and invoices from the transport company can be sent directly to Bowhill for payment up to this amount.  Pupils are then only charged £2.55 per visit plus VAT and all adult helpers can visit for free.

Read more about what topics and activities we can offer by downloading our 2010/2011 Education Programme below or contacting us on 01750 22204.

To find out more about this offer please contact us on 01750 22204
